MANUEL MIGUELEZ KUTHY
Member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (MRAIC).
In my youth, I found a deep interest in Architecture due to my exposure to the work of Modern Mexican Architects. Once I entered university to study my Bachelors of Architecture, I fell in love with the work of the great Masters, while also developing a deep attraction to the philosophical element behind architectural thought. As I continued my career, I complemented this interest for Architectural thinking by studying Semiotics of Art and Design, while also diving into the world of construction management in order to give myself the tools to be able to build anything I could design.
After working in small Architecture firms, I started my own office, focusing on boutique residential projects. Throughout my career, I was also able to expand to the world of real estate development, which I pragmatically viewed as a productive tool for materializing good Design when in good hands. This stage of my career also allowed me to gain a special appreciation for creating positive relationship dynamics with clients.
Once I realized that a change of scenery would do me wonders, I arrived in Alberta, Canada almost a decade ago, armed with a long career and the focus of attacking this wonderful challenge of merging my world vision with a unique location’s traditions. Throughout the past years, I have been a part of Design, development, and construction teams in British Columbia, giving me a strong expertise in the region’s building practices and business environment.
